We have invested nearly £3.5 million in best-in-class printing technology. This investment equals high quality products combined with maximum efficiencies. We offer digital print for cost effective short runs and conventional litho printing for longer runs. Our finishing equipment, such as die-cutting, folding and saddle stitching (booklet) machines are also the best available, utilising the most efficient technology to ensure the best quality at great prices.

From our early beginnings as a printer in Sussex we learnt one very important thing: Do not underestimate the importance of people! Our production team are expertly trained and experienced with the average length of service in the company reaching 13 years – you can’t get the best out of the equipment without the best staff operating it!
Our management team has well in excess of 100 years combined experience in the industry - yet we all look so young!

ISO9001 - Quality Management System
A Local Printer has been certified as conforming to the requirements of ISO9001, the internationally recognised business standard, since 2008. ISO9001 is primarily focussed upon consistent quality and continuous improvement throughout all areas of the business, from customer service, training and accurate systems to regular supplier audits. At A Local Printer we use our ISO9001 certification as an incentive to deliver the best possible products and service to our customers - from knowledgeable staff to accurate record keeping and consistently high quality products.
ISO14001 - Environmental Management System
Our commitment to the environment was demonstrated very ably in 2006 when we launched the UK’s first online eco-printing website. Our commitment to the environment is as strong now as it was then with our aim to promote and produce eco-friendly printing at the forefront of our business.
Certified since 2008 our ISO14001 principles and policies are second nature to all of our employees; the environmental procedures we follow are part of our everyday life. With regards to our products all of our materials are sourced from sustainable forests, all of our printing is with eco-toners or vegetable oil based inks, all of our plate-making is chemical free and our presses are alcohol free.
FSC Certification
A Local Printer has FSC certification. The FSC certification shows a commitment to sourcing wood products from responsibly managed forests and supporting sustainable forest management practices. This means forests are managed in a way that minimizes environmental impact, protects biodiversity, and promotes the renewal of the forest. Only wood and pulp from FSC certified and managed forests can be used to make FSC certified paper which in turn is tracked from tree to print through the Chain of Custody system.
