At A Local Printer Ltd we have a long-held belief that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is understanding how our business may impact on the wider world and how we can influence this impact in a positive way. For A Local Printer an effective CSR policy incorporates how we impact and engage with (i) the environment, (ii) workplace, (iii) marketplace, (iv) community.
Environmental Stability
As the first online environmentally friendly printer in the UK our aim has always been to promote and provide eco-friendly printing that is high quality and affordable. Being an environmentally friendly printer is a key component of our business and something that we consider in all our business decisions, including our supply chain.
We are a waterless printer

We use carbon neutral paper
We only use recycled boxes
We are a plastic free business
We only use 100% recycled paper or paper from sustainably managed forests
Our inks are vegetable oil based
Our toners are new generation eco-friendly
We recycle 100% of our printing generated waste with none to landfill

We operate a clean factory policy that includes keeping our recycling cages covered to stop paper becoming a litter problem
Our noise levels are audited annually and do not impact on the surrounding environment
We have a relationship with local schools and donate packs of paper to them
We support our employees in their chosen charities and make a regular donation to the charity of our choice
