We're going litho printing - what does that mean?
For our longer run notebooks it is far more cost effective if we print the covers using litho print rather than digital. What does this mean to you?
Litho printing uses printing plates and wet ink and consequently there is an element of the ink which is absorbed in to the cover which makes the finished covers less vibrant and with a softer tone. If you have had notebooks with digitally printed covers you may notice a difference between the two in colour vibrancy. It also means that we are unable to offer our normal Multi-sorts option as we are limited with the number of sorts we can fit on a printing plate.
Artwork assistance - Here if you need it!
Your designs are all about you and you don't need us to create something for you! However you may like the option to have your artwork looked over and checked to ensure that everything is hunky dory before we press the Go button. Our fixed price Tidy My Design is there just for that.
