Being a guinea pig for the paper merchants allows us to try all the new recyled papers before our competitors. This means your recycled flyer printing is at the cutting edge of new eco friendly papers.
Every Wednesday is Recycled Flyer Printing day at A Local Printer. All week we gather together the jobs that come through for printing on the Revive uncoated board that we have used for over 5 years since it was launched by Robert Horne Paper Group. As you can see from the flyers imposed on this sheet, the Revive recycled board lends itself brilliantly to earthy organic colours and delivers a range of muted tones much loved by the eco/organic companies.
We have tried pretty much every 100% recycled board that is introduced to the market for commercial printing, and for us the Revive wins hands down. It has a few foibles (but then who doesn't) mostly due to the fact that it can print darker than the artwork supplied. The general rule of thumb is - the more black you have in your design, the darker it will print. So if dark is not good for you, remember less is more when using black on uncoated papers.
