So, what to say about 2020. The less the better in my opinion. I think we would all like to put the year that never was behind us and look towards 2021 with some positivity. But of course, there are always some high points to acknowledge and I make no apology for my cheesy first ‘high’ of the year which is a joint award – to our wonderful customers and simply stunning staff. Quite frankly, both went above and beyond this year and my eternal thanks does not really do justice.
Well it’s that time again. With another year behind us it’s time for our Product Review of 2019. Fair to say this year we have had a stand-out winner in terms of popularity and somewhat of a surprise! In 2019 we added a further 20 products to our website, some based on customer enquiries and some based on a hunch. Yup, that’s how technical we are at Team Alp!
One of the main benefits of being parked in the office that manages the bespoke enquires we receive is that I can spot a trend in products that our customers are interested in. Our customers are our barometer on new product requirements and as such we are able to respond very quickly to new market interests. This year we have added 18 new products to our website based upon enquiries from our customers.

Our new Wedding Collection has been unveiled (excuse the pun) and we are delighted to offer an enticing range of wedding orientated printing – from invitations all the way through to printing for the reception and even wedding favours.
With our focus on delivering a range of fully eco-friendly wedding stationery we have also pushed the boat out with a selection of luxury printed items on carefully chosen materials.
Like a matching hat and outfit we give you the option to carry your wedding theme all the way from the initial Save the Date to the after event Thank-you cards. Or you can ring the changes and go totally off piste for your reception with a different style and flavour, for this is the time that you can really let your hair down!
As we enter 2017 we thought it would be fun to have a look back at 2016 and find out what are the favourite products we printed, as picked by a cross reference of each department. After all, they are the ones that see every item that passes through our factory and have hands on experience with all of them. Have a scroll down to see which items were Top of the Pops as far as we are concerned. Perhaps they are your favourites as well.

At A Local Printer we are often involved in creating and refreshing brand identities for our clients, but something that we have only toyed with when it came to our own!
Work experience at A Local Printer generally starts in our graphic design studio before moving to the office and then a brief sting in our factory. We aim to give all of our sudents a good guide to waht working in the print industry is like.
Our website has over 25 Product Categories and within each category there is generally more than one product to select from. And on top of all that we are also a bespoke printer, printing a massive range of various products each day. One of our key bespoke products is packaging, such as these boxes we printed for a cosmetics company.
Shapes don't phase us! This 3D triangle was printed and die-cut with a glue flap for robust construction.
