Why recycled is still all the rage

Why is printing on recycled materials still all the rage? Probbly because it creates organic, retro style printed flyers that are to die for. Simple.

There are many excellent reasons to opt for recycled flyer printing, but with eco papers now the norm these are giving recycled a run for their money!  However for me it is simply because printing with recycled board not only ticks all the eco boxes but also looks and feels organic and environmentally friendly.  And in today's marketplace that is still a big selling point. However, printing on recycled (or uncoated) materials does come with a few caveats in terms of getting the design right so that you are happy with the result: Remember that uncoated paper is absorbent which can increase dot gain and leave a flatter image; UV varnish does not work on uncoated materials; try to avoid solid print areas where there is to be a crease to beadded; remember to add exta time to the job to allow it to dry!
