We generally associate gold and silver wrapping paper with the festive season but, like puppies, it’s not just for Christmas.
The first beauty of metallic wrapping paper is that it brings instant glamour to anything – whether it is wrapped presents, drawer lining, scrapbooking or in a frame as a poster (you should try this – add a piece of wrapping paper to a lovely frame with a pre-cut mount for an instantly chic picture!) Going for gold doesn’t break the bank
But how can this be? It looks so expensive! Well, looks can be deceiving and in this instance they certainly are. Even though we print our metallic printed wrapping paper on a slightly heavier paper than normal, the cost saving is down to the fact that printing in any metallic ink only requires one printing plate. This in turn means that it is easier and quicker to print as there is no registration required like there is with our standard four colour printing, and this in turn means less cost for you.

From an eco-friendly perspective, all of our metallic wrapping paper is fully recyclable. This is because it is printed with inks; metallic wrapping paper with foil or glitter elements cannot be recycled, so worth knowing if eco credentials are important to you (which of course they are!).
