On a regular basis there is the reassuring thud as the latest delivery arrives on the doormat, followed by the frisson of excitement as you contemplate exactly what might be inside this box. The general premise is that a certain number of ‘regular’ stationery items will be included together with one or two surprises, usually non-stationery items relating to the theme of the box (candles, bath salts, seed packets, etc).
