Our Ongoing Commitment to the Good Business Charter: Celebrating Our Third Year of Accreditation
Being a responsible business isn’t a slogan for us — it’s a standard. We are proud to celebrate our third year of successful accreditation with the Good Business Charter (GBC), an achievement that reflects our long-term commitment to fairness, sustainability, and ethical business practices. The Good Business Charter is considered the UK’s standard for responsible business. It was developed with the help of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Trades Union Congress (TUC), and Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), establishing clear expectations for responsible conduct. Its ten elements—covering aspects like paying the Real Living Wage, fair contracts, environmental care, and ethical sourcing—offer a transparent framework for organisations dedicated to prioritising people and the planet.

Why Being A Member of The Good Business Charter is Important to Us
Achieving and maintaining GBC accreditation requires organisations to meet all ten commitments, with each annual renewal involving checks, monitoring, and accountability measures to ensure standards are upheld. This “all‑or‑nothing” approach keeps the Charter credible and ensures accredited organisations continually demonstrate real integrity in their operations.
Reaching our third year of reassessment is more than just a milestone — it is a true confirmation of our continuous commitment to transparency, valuing our staff, practising sustainable operations, and fostering solid relationships with customers and suppliers. Other organisations with multi-year accreditation see this accomplishment as proof of their responsible business practices, and we fully agree with this perspective.
Our dedication is integrated into all aspects of our work: supporting employee wellbeing and fair compensation, minimising our environmental footprint, prioritising ethical sourcing, and ensuring timely payments. The GBC framework underpins and highlights these principles, keeping us accountable and encouraging ongoing improvements in our standards.
As we enter our third year as a GBC-accredited organisation, we remain committed to “raising the bar together” — joining hundreds of other businesses, charities, and public sector bodies working to create a fairer, more sustainable future for all.
